Start by admitting that “pedicure kit” is not a product. It is a search term that returns four things which share no mechanism and solve different problems. Then weight the two things the listings will never mention. The first is that Amazon files almost all of this under personal care, which makes it non-returnable - once the box is open your options are a seller exchange or nothing, and owners say exactly that in their reviews. The second is that the electric ones fail, and not rarely: across every rechargeable callus remover we have read, the recurring stories are a battery that collapses to a few minutes, a motor that stops under light pressure, or internal plastic gears that strip somewhere between month three and year two. Put those two facts together and the deciding variable in this aisle is not power or head count - it is whether a human being answers when the thing dies, and whether the brand ships a replacement. That is also why the manual tools punch so far above their price here: a piece of stainless steel has no motor to lose and no warranty to claim. We read what owners report months in, we cannot test a motor’s lifespan ourselves, and so our judgment leans on that pattern and on which brands actually turn up.
