Best Keyboard in India 2026
A keyboard's box shouts switch types, RGB and polling rates. What decides whether you still like it at month ten is duller: whether the keys feel right for the hours you type, whether it lasts past the first year, and whether the brand answers when a key dies.

How to choose a keyboard in India
The keyboard aisle is louder than it needs to be - mechanical versus membrane, 60% versus full-size, RGB, hot-swap sockets, polling rates - and most of that noise misses the two questions that actually decide whether you keep using the thing. The first is feel for your use: a typist grinding through documents or a typing exam wants deep, tactile travel or a good chiclet; a gamer wants fast linear switches; someone hopping between a laptop, a tablet and a phone wants a compact multi-device board they can carry. Buy for how you type, not for the switch marketing.
The second question is the one the carton never answers: does it last, and who fixes it when it doesn’t. This is where Indian buyers get caught. A ₹500 wired Dell or Logitech routinely comes with a three-year warranty and just keeps working; several ₹3,000-₹10,000 wireless boards ship with a one-year warranty and a cluster of owners reporting dead keys in year two and no repair support after that. We weight real key-feel, year-two reliability and the warranty-and-service reality over switch counts and lighting modes - because a keyboard you can’t get serviced is a keyboard you replace.
