How to choose a dishwasher in India
The showroom sells on place settings, wash programs and germ-kill percentages. Useful, but not the decision. Two duller things decide whether you’re still happy in year three. The first is capacity matched to your household - an 8-place tabletop is right for a couple and a joke for a joint family, while a 14-15 place freestanding is the standard for an Indian family that cooks daily. The second, and the one the brochure never mentions, is after-sales service and spare-parts availability - because dishwashers do develop faults, racks do rust in hard water, and a machine you can’t get a heat pump or a PCB for is scrap.
