The tablet aisle borrows the phone playbook - a big megahertz number, a high refresh rate, “AI” stamped on the box - and almost none of it answers the only question that matters: will you actually use this thing, or will it live in a drawer after a month. After that, the things that separate a tablet you like in year two from one you resent are the boring ones: whether the processor is honestly matched to the price (a ₹46,000 tablet on a budget chip ages worse than a ₹34,000 one on a good one), whether the battery is big enough that you are not charging it daily, and how many years of software updates the brand actually ships. We weight real app fit, chip-for-the-price honesty and update longevity over the refresh-rate number on the carton - because that number is the easiest one to print and the least likely to be what disappoints you.
