Best Gaming Mouse in India 2026

A gaming mouse box shouts DPI, RGB and polling rate. What decides whether you still like it at month ten is duller: whether the weight and shape suit how you play, and whether the click still fires once instead of twice a year in.

How to choose a gaming mouse in India

The gaming-mouse aisle sells you numbers that barely matter - 26,000 DPI when you game at 800, RGB that does nothing for your aim, polling rates you cannot feel - and stays quiet on the two things that actually decide whether you keep the mouse. The first is fit for how you play: weight and shape. A palm-grip player who plays MOBAs and does office work wants a contoured 90-to-120g mouse with plenty of buttons; a Valorant or CS player who flicks all day wants the lightest shell they can get, 55-70g, and does not care about a thumb rest. Buy for your grip and your games, not for the DPI ceiling.

The second question is the one the carton never answers: does the click still work in year two. This is where mouse buyers get caught. The single most common failure across popular gaming mice is the switch developing a “double-click” - one press registering as two - usually somewhere between eight months and two years in, and it can end a mouse’s life. Optical switches largely avoid it; mechanical ones are cheaper and more prone to it. We weight real weight-and-shape, switch durability and the warranty-and-service reality over sensor specs and lighting - because a mouse that double-clicks in a firefight is a mouse you are already replacing.
